Prince William County Police are searching for the Hispanic or Asian man who allegedly forced a woman into a wooded area and sexually assaulted her in Manassas. PWCPD says officers responded to investigate a sexual assault around 1:29 a.m. on April 20, 2024.
The incident allegedly happened in the area of Fairmont Avenue and Anvil Drive in Manassas between 11:30 p.m. on April 19 and 12:30 a.m. on April 20. A 35-year-old female victim was walking in the area when she was grabbed by an unknown male suspect.
The man allegedly forced the woman into a nearby wooded area where he sexually assaulted her. Once the parties eventually separated, the victim notified authorities. The suspect description is an Asian or Hispanic male with a slim build and short spiked hair. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and hood.
