The Prince William County Police Department reports that it is currently investigating a homicide in the area of Triangle Street. PWCPD says its officers responded to a residence in the 18500 block of Triangle Street in Triangle for a report of an injured man inside a vehicle.

Authorities say the investigation indicated that the victim was found by an acquaintance with life-threatening injuries. The victim was later pronounced deceased at the scene. PWCPD says the victim’s injuries were determined to be suspicious and not self-inflicted.

Detectives have not revealed the victim’s identity at this time although he is described as a 43-year-old man. Police say the incident does not appear to be random. Detectives ask anyone with information to contact PWCPD at 703-792-6500.
