Officers with the Prince George’s County Police Department were dispatched near the intersection of Landover Road and Neighbor Lane on January 1, 2024, at approximately 8:50 p.m. to investigate a pedestrian collision. Upon arrival at the scene, officers located an unresponsive adult male lying in the roadway.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver left the scene before officers arrived.
