The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in Bowie. Detectives with the Homicide Unit are investigating the shooting that took the life of 37-year-old Timothy Jones of Washington, DC. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.

Around 3:05 p.m. on December 28, 2023, officers responded to a shooting in the 900 block of Saint Michaels Drive. At the scene, they found a victim in a vehicle with gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
