The Portland Police Bureau announced that it is investigating a double fatal shooting at a local cannabis store. PPB reports that two people were left deceased following a shooting at a cannabis store in the St. Johns neighborhood.

A person believed to be involved in the shooting remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to authorities. Around 9:39 a.m. on October 3, 2024, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 9400 block of North St. Louis Avenue.

At the scene, officers found two people deceased. Portland Police Homicide Unit detectives responded to investigate the shooting. No other details are available at this time.
