The Portland Police Bureau is investigating a fatal shooting in the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood. Around 8 p.m. on January 19, 2024, East Precinct officers responded to a reported shooting in the 7700 block of Southeast 82nd Avenue. At the scene, officers found a male victim deceased in the parking lot of a motel.

Homicide Unit detectives are responding to the scene to investigate. Southeast 82nd Avenue will be closed between Southeast Flavel Street and Southeast Lambert Street during the investigation. No arrests have been made at this time and no suspect information is available.
