The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a Port Allen man who is charged with First Degree Rape. Authorities say Juvenile Detectives received a report of alleged sexual abuse involving a juvenile victim on July 30, 2024.

After the preliminary investigation, detectives arrested 34-year-old Gonzalo Rodriguez who is charged with one count of First-Degree Rape. Rodriguez was booked into the West Baton Rouge Parish Detention Center.

Bond has not been set at this time.
