The Plano Police Department responded to the Plano High School earlier today after a report of armed threatening. PPD reports that officers were dispatched to the school in the 700 block of West Abe Street just before 6 p.m. on May 21, 2024.
Reports suggested that a man was threatening someone with a firearm. A subject was detained in the parking lot of the high school. PPD says two adult males were transported to the police department for interviews.
The alleged altercation occurred in the 200 block of West Abe Street. One of the people involved ran to the parking lot where they encountered responding officers. PPD says there is no evidence that a firearm was used during the incident.
Both men were released.
