The Plano Police Department has announced the arrests of two suspects in connection to a stabbing and kidnapping. Around 4:15 p.m. on October 3, 2024, PPD officers responded to a stabbing and kidnapping in the 2400 block of West Spring Creek Parkway.

At the scene, PPD says officers determined that 23-year-old Raul Puente kidnapped a woman and their four-year-old child during a domestic violence encounter. It is alleged that Puente was aided by 23-year-old Ivan Puente-Ledezma.

While at the location, two men attempted to stop the kidnapping but were allegedly stabbed by one of the suspects. The woman and her four-year-old child were forced into a black Mazda 6 and kidnapped.

PPD’s Criminal Investigation Division tracked the suspects. The men were ultimately taken into custody in the 400 block of Hollywood Avenue in Dallas. Raul is facing charges of Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Puente-Ledezma is charged with Aggravated Kidnapping.
