A 60-year-old man is undergoing surgery after suffering a gunshot wound to the eye. The Pittsburgh Police Department is currently investigating. The Pittsburgh Public Safety Department reports that police responded to the area of Exit 69A/I-376W for reports of rifle rounds fired into a vehicle from a passing vehicle.

Responding officers found a 60-year-old male victim inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the eye. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Pittsburgh Police are searching for a White Mazda SUV that fled westbound toward either Banksville Road or onto I-376W.
