The Pittsburgh Public Safety Department said in a social media post that Pittsburgh Police had responded to 230 West Station Square Drive for a reported shooting. At the scene, responding units found an adult male outside with gunshot wounds to his pelvis.

PPSD said the male victim was initially conscious and alert when officers applied a tourniquet to stem the bleeding. The victim’s condition deteriorated before he was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. The victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Police are looking for a smaller U-Haul box truck that fled the area. At this time, there are no suspect descriptions.
