Pittsburgh Police respond to Sky Spa where a woman was pistol-whipped

The Pittsburgh Public Safety Department said in a social media post that Pittsburgh Police had received information from a 3rd-party caller who said a woman had approached her in a parking lot and pistol-whipped her while she was working at the Sky Spa at 2544 Library Road.

Once at the scene, medics found the female in serious but stable condition. The victim was transported to an area hospital. The victim informed police she was letting a customer out the door when two males wearing masks pushed their way inside.

The victim saw one firearm before she was hit in the head. At the time, there were three customers and four employees inside the business. They were on a different floor and did not witness the attack.
