Pittsburgh Police have responded to a convenience store where a man was shot. According to a social media post from the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department, police, fire, and EMS responded to a convenience store in the 2100 block of East Carson Street around 10:30 p.m. on February 4, 2024.
At the scene, the victim was found inside the store. The victim had been shot at the intersection of 22nd and East Carson while taking out the trash before returning to the store. PPSD said the victim had a gunshot wound to his upper right chest.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition, but he has since been upgraded to stable. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Police HQ at 412-323-7800.
