Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – Pittsburgh Police are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday. According to a statement from the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department, Zone 1 Pittsburg Police responded to the 100 block of Hawkins Avenue in Perry South for reports of a shooting around 12:30 p.m. on January 18, 2025.

At the scene, responding officers found an adult female victim inside a residence with a gunshot wound to the head.

Authorities say the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other details are available at this time.
