On Saturday night, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department was investigating a homicide in Bonney Lake. PCSD reports that deputies responded to a call of a shooting in the 11100 block of 166th Avenue East in Bonney Lake around 7:20 p.m. on Saturday.
At the scene, deputies were flagged down by a victim who had been shot. The caller reported someone else was deceased inside the home. Deputies called out to the individuals inside and detained the suspect who had already put the gun away.
PCSD says a 23-year-old man was found inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities were told that the victim and suspect were roommates.
An argument occurred between them and the suspect shot the victim. A 24-year-old male victim, who did not reside at the home, suffered a non-life-threatening injury. The 22-year-old suspect had a graze wound.
Once he’s cleared from the hospital, he will be booked into the Pierce County Jail for Murder in the 2nd Degree.
