A person is dead following an incident in Charlotte on Tuesday morning. According to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department media release, detectives with the Homicide Unit are investigating a homicide in the 2300 block of Toddville Road. Just after 5 a.m. on March 26, officers responded to an assist medical call at the aforementioned location.
At the scene, responding officers found a victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to Atrium-Main where they were pronounced deceased. CMPD Homicide Unit detectives responded to investigate the homicide. No one is in custody at this time and no other details are available.
