A man has been arrested and charged with 1st Degree Murder in connection to the death of a 2-year-old girl. The Pembroke Pines Police Department reports that officers and Fire Department personnel responded to a report of an injured child at 404 Southwest 177 Avenue.
At the scene, first responders entered the residence and found the child bleeding profusely from the neck. Emergency care was immediately provided. The 2-year-old victim was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Officers arrested 33-year-old Jeronimo A. Duran and took him to the Broward County Jail. Duran was charged with 1st Degree Murder. No other details are available at this time.
