The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting that occurred on Thursday evening. Around 6:15 p.m., PSO deputies were investigating the shooting of a person in the Low County Pl area of Wesley Chapel.

At this time, authorities believe there was an argument between two adult men who are known to each other. The argument escalated leading to an exchange of gunfire. One of the men was transported to an area hospital with a gunshot wound.

Authorities say the suspect fled in a vehicle before deputies arrived. Deputies are still searching for the suspect. No other details are available at this time.
