Parkersburg, West Virginia – The Parkersburg Police Department said in a statement that it had arrested 69-year-old Patrick Vaughn Frazier for the sexual abuse of a 7-year-old girl and a 9-year-old girl.
According to a PPD statement, the investigation was initiated following disclosures of the victims to their parents that Frazier had inappropriately touched them while they were at his residence on Stella Street.
Police say Frazier was involved in a relationship with a family member of the alleged victims at the time. The two girls were interviewed at the North Star Child Advocacy Center leading to a more detailed account, according to police.
Detectives drafted a search warrant for Frazier’s residence on Stella Street. PPD says Frazier was interviewed on January 22, 2025. He allegedly admitted to sexually abusing the 9-year-old girl on nine separate occasions at his Stella Street residence.
Frazier was taken into custody and charged with nine counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree. He is being held in the North Central Regional Jail with a $100,000 bond.
