Oxnard Police arrest suspect in armed robbery of Carl’s Jr and 7-Eleven

The Oxnard Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection to two area robberies. The 20-year-old suspect was apprehended on Friday. OPD reports that officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Carl’s Jr. restaurant in the 800 block of North Rose Avenue just before 4 p.m. on June 21, 2024.

OPD says the robber was reportedly armed with a gun. A possible suspect was taken into custody several blocks away from the restaurant on San Jose Street. OPD says witnesses identified 20-year-old Ezra Carrasco as the suspect leading to his arrest.

Investigators claim to have successfully linked Carrasco to the robbery of a 7-Eleven store on Oxnard Boulevard that occurred overnight. No other details are available at this time.
