The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports that a woman is in custody in connection to the death of a 14-year-old child. OCSO says its deputies responded to 1148 Cambourne Drive in reference to an armed disturbance call on November 20.

The 911 caller reportedly stated that someone named Kelsey had killed a 14-year-old child by drowning them and had attacked the 911 caller with knives and a hammer.

OCSO says deputies entered the residence and found 14-year-old Giselle Glover unresponsive. The victim was transported to Poinciana Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.

On November 20, OCSO’s Homicide Unit said it identified Glover’s mother, Kelsey Michelle Glover, as the suspect in the death. An arrest warrant was obtained for her arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

The Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Glover died by drowning and the manner of death was ruled homicide. On November 22, OCSO arrested Kelsey Michelle Glover for First Degree Murder.
