Orlando Police arrests 20-year-old Daiquan Noah Robinson in fatal shooting of James Jerry Williams III

A suspect is now in custody in the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man in Orlando, Florida. Today, the Orlando Police Department announced that 20-year-old Daiquan Noah Robinson was arrested by the Fugitive Investigative Unit and charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder with a Firearm, Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle, and Carrying a Concealed Firearm.

Around 11 p.m. on February 28, 2024, OPD officers responded to the 3300 block of Ironwedge Drive for a report of a shooting. Multiple gunshots were reported at the intersection of Ironwedge and South Lake Orlando. Officers found 21-year-old James Jerry Williams III deceased.

OPD says video shows the decedent firing the first shot before being killed by a second individual armed with a firearm.
