The Orlando Police Department has arrested a suspect in a fatal drive-by shooting. According to OPD, officers responded to a drive-by shooting in the 5100 block of Else Street around 11:10 p.m. on April 25, 2020. At the scene, OPD officers found multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
One victim, Dexter Antonio Rentz Junior, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. On March 27, 2024, the Orlando Police Department Fugitive Investigative Unit apprehended 24-year-old Christopher Burke. OPD says Burke is charged with Second-Degree Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Second-Degree Murder.
