The Orange Police Department is investigating a fatal hit and run. Around 3:41 p.m. on January 20, 2024, OPD officers responded to the 2700 block of North Tustin Street in reference to a pedestrian in the roadway.

At the scene, officers found an adult male in the number three lane of southbound Tustin Street. OPD said the male victim had signs of trauma consistent with being struck by a vehicle. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The suspect vehicle fled the scene before officers arrived. At this time, no one is in custody. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Rocha at 714-744-7342.
