The Orange Police Department has arrested a man for DUI after they crashed into a residence. According to OPD, a suspected impaired driver crashed into a residence in the 100 block of South Amberwood Street around 9:30 p.m. on April 1, 2024.

Before the Jeep crashed into the home, it hit two parked vehicles and a mailbox. A small fire started inside the Jeep and spread to the home. Officers evacuated the residents and the fire was extinguished by the Orange Fire Department.

The driver of the Jeep was arrested for DUI.
