Ontario Police arrest suspect in attempted murder at residence on Mitchell Road

Ontario Provincial Police reported on social media that it had arrested a suspect in connection to an attempted murder in the Township of Cramahe.

Ontario Police say officers responded to a residence on Mitchell Road regarding a dropped 911 call around 1 p.m. on November 13. Police say they found one person suffering from serious injuries.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where they remain in stable condition. OPP says a 34-year-old from Northumberland County has been arrested and charged with Attempted Murder.

The accused was remanded into custody and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on November 19, 2024.
