The Ocoee Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man with a gunshot wound to the leg. OPD reports that an officer heard a gunshot near 2308 Ocoee Apopka Road around 12:51 p.m. on August 14, 2024.

The officer arrived at the scene and found an adult male victim pointing a gun at a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

OPD confirms all involved individuals have been identified. There is no threat to the community, according to authorities. No other details are available at this time.
