The Omaha Police Department announced on social media that its officers were involved in an officer-involved incident.

OPD made the announcement around 1:15 a.m. on Thursday. OPD says its officers are in the area of South 44th Street and Center Street for an officer-involved incident.

Authorities say Center Street is closed from 42nd to 46th Street. The scene is secure and there is no danger to the public, according to OPD.

OPD says no officers were injured. One person was transported to Nebraska Medicine with serious injuries.
