The Olathe Police Department is investigating a deadly double shooting on South Kiowa Drive. According to a media release from OPD, officers responded to the 1700 block of South Kiowa Drive in reference to an armed disturbance around 2:40 p.m. on March 1, 2024.

At the scene, officers found an adult female deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. An adult male was also found deceased from a gunshot wound. According to OPD, the man and woman were family members. There are no outstanding suspects at this time.
