The Ogden Police Department says it is investigating a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of a 63-year-old man. OPD reports that its officers responded to a report of an unconscious man lying in a parking lot near 7th and Washington Boulevard around 5:11 p.m. on October 30, 2024.

Authorities say a 63-year-old man was cleaning the parking lot of a nearby carwash when he was struck by a vehicle. Police say the man was not employed by the business. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
