The Ocean City Police Department is investigating a deadly bicyclist collision. The incident happened around 2:06 p.m. on Sunday near 14th Street and St. Louis Avenue. OCPD reports that 34-year-old Stephannie Holston was riding a class two e-bike in the southbound bicycle lane on St. Louis Avenue.

She was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on St. Louis Avenue and turning to travel west on 14th Street. The victim succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Ocean City Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the cause of the crash. OCPD says alcohol was not a factor for the vehicle’s driver.
