Norwalk Police arrests suspect for threatening to burn down house and kill a resident

Norwalk, Connecticut – The Norwalk Police Department has announced the arrest of 29-year-old Nabeel Osama Abdallah. According to NPD, officers responded to a call of a disturbance at a residence at 32 Adams Avenue around 7:04 p.m. on December 23, 2024.

NPD says Nabeel Osama Abdallah was in the residence saying he had to “complete a mission” and had allegedly made statements about “burning the house down and killing one of the residents”.

Police also say a witness observed a firearm in Abdallah’s room. It is alleged that Abdallah made comments that he was “not going down without a fight”. Negotiations lasted for over five and a half hours before Abdallah was taken into custody, according to NPD.

Negotiators convicted Abdallah to surrender without incident. Police say two facsimile firearms were located in his room. Abdallah was booked on charges of Disorderly Conduct, Threatening in the First Degree/ Firearm, and Interfering with an Officer/Resisting.
