The North Little Rock Police Department has announced it is investigating a shooting at the Waffle House at 4517 Camp Robinson Road. Officers responded to the Waffle House around 8:48 PM on December 15, 2023, in reference to a report of a subject being shot. Once officers reached the scene, they found a female victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment for life-threatening injuries. Officers at the scene were advised that a black male armed with a handgun had entered the restaurant and demanded money. During the commission of the crime, the suspect discharged his weapon striking the female victim.
