The Norman Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to a fatal shooting on Twisted Oak Drive. NPD reports that the shooting occurred around 12:40 p.m. on Friday in the 1800 block of Twisted Oak Drive.
At the scene, officers found a 52-year-old male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. NPD says witnesses provided officers with a description of the shooter who fled after the incident.
While searching for the shooter, police reportedly identified him as 31-year-old Timothy Daniel Moseley. The suspect was located in the 1300 block of Lindsey Street and detained. Moseley has been booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center on a complaint of first degree murder and two complaints of possession of a firearm after felony conviction.
Police believe the victim and suspect were involved in a verbal disturbance before the shooting.
