The New Orleans Police Department has announced the arrest of two suspects for allegedly being in possession of multiple stolen vehicles. On December 22, 2023, Fifth District officers responded to a call of a suspicious person in the 2000 block of Annette Street. Once officers reached the scene, they witnessed two subjects actively stripping a vehicle that had been listed as stolen.

Enrique Gexel Madrid Ortega and Hector Manuel Posas Rivera were taken into custody. Police say they found four other vehicles listed as stolen at the property. The subjects were booked on multiple counts of possession of stolen property.
