The Newberg-Dundee Police Department reports that it received a report from a concerned citizen that a teacher for the Newberg School District supplied alcohol to a 16-year-old female.

NDPD says the teacher has been identified as 41-year-old Joshua Luciani of Lafayette. Authorities say school resource officers began investigating the allegation. Police confirm that Luciani has been arrested on one count of Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.

Police say the incident did not take place on school property.
