New York State Police was dispatched to 522 Pine Valley around 4:49 p.m. on December 14, 2023, to investigate a report of a house fire. At the scene, officers found the house engulfed in flames.

Following the preliminary evidence, detectives determined that the owner was trapped inside the house. Firefighters successfully extinguished the fire. The owner was located deceased inside the house.

The house fire is under investigation.
