The New Orleans Police Department is searching for a suspect wanted in multiple auto theft investigations in the 2300 block of Dumaine Street. Around 7:45 p.m. on December 12, 2023, the victims were taking part in a recreational soccer match when the suspect entered a gated area and removed several bags.

Then, the suspect met with an accomplice, emptied the bags, and took the keys to two automobiles. The two removed the vehicles from the property. Detectives think the suspect in the photo was involved in other auto thefts at the same location. Investigators also say the suspect may frequent the Faubourg Lafitte neighborhood.

According to authorities, the suspect is a black male with medium-brown skin and medium-length dreadlocks with gold/blonde tips. It is believed he is in his mid-20s. The suspect may still have a White Toyota CHR with Louisiana license plate 959CVW.
