Three people were injured in a shooting in New Orleans. The New Orleans Police Department says it is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted on three counts of attempted murder and illegal use of a dangerous weapon.
NOPD is searching for Donnell Beard. Investigators say that Beard was in the 800 block of Canal Street when he opened fire on a crowd around 1:53 p.m. on May 23, 2024. As a result of the shooting, three individuals were wounded.
NOPD says Beard’s last known address is 1804 Wagner Street in New Orleans. A warrant is on file for his arrest. Anyone with information is asked to contact Eighth District detectives at 504-658-6080.
