At approximately 4:10 p.m. New Orleans police were investigating a shooting in the area of North Claiborne Avenue and Elysian Fields Avenue when an alert of a second shooting was issued. NOPD officers were dispatched to the area of Joseph Guillaume Place and St. Claude Avenue.

The male victim from the first shooting scene was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. At the second shooting scene, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound(s). The man later succumbed to his injuries at an area hospital.

According to a social media post, three individuals arrived at the hospital seeking treatment for gunshot wounds. Detectives have associated the three gunshot wound victims with the same scene. All three victims were listed in stable condition.
