The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 4300 block of Louisa Drive on January 29, 2024. Around 4:03 p.m., Third District officers responded to a call of a person shot. At the scene, officers located a juvenile male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators are gathering evidence and information to identify the person or persons responsible as well as the motive. No additional information is available at this time.
