The New Orleans Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in an armed robbery in the Fifth District. On December 31, 2023, a victim reported they were followed by someone in the 2300 block of Saint Claude Avenue before being pushed to the ground from behind.

Once the victim was on the ground, the suspect pointed a handgun at them and demanded their wallet. After the victim complied, the suspect fled the scene.
