New Mexico State Police responds to shots fired call in Guadalupe County

The New Mexico State Police has responded to a shots fired call off Waller Road in Guadalupe County. According to NMSP, homeowners reported that they were checking on their livestock when one of them noticed a dark figure running through the tree line.

The reporting party informed NMSP that they heard two shots being fired at them. The alleged shooter is described as a male subject who was wearing a brown jacket and cap. He was last seen heading in the northwest direction. NMSP officers are at the scene. Anyone who sees someone matching the suspect’s description is asked to call 911.
