Natchitoches, Louisiana – The Natchitoches Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery in the 900 block of Keyser Avenue. According to an NPD social media statement, officers responded to the Dollar Tree around 9:27 p.m. on December 23 for a report of an armed robbery.

Police say they made contact with the victim who say they were approached by two individuals in the parking lot.

The individuals, who were armed, allegedly demanded that the victim give them the store deposit bag and their cell phone.

NPD says the victim compiled before the suspects fled on foot. Investigators have reportedly collected evidence that will be sent to the crime lab for analysis.
