A Nashville woman has been arrested in the fatal shooting of her brother during an argument about money. Metropolitan Nashville Police Department detectives have charged 38-year-old Monica Wilson with criminal homicide in a fatal shooting on Levy Lane.
Detectives allege that Monica Wilson and her brother, 40-year-old Michael Wilson, were involved in an argument about money in front of a relative’s residence when Monica shot her brother in the head. MNPD says Monica Wilson remained at the scene and was detained by responding officers.
The victim was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
