Nashville police looking for Teddy Cooper for allegedly critically injuring roommate

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department is searching for a 21-year-old man on outstanding warrants charging him with attempted criminal homicide and aggravated assault. According to an MNPD media release, Domestic Violence detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating 21-year-old Teddy Cooper.

Cooper is wanted in Thursday night’s shooting at an apartment on Star Boulevard in Madison. The shooting left Cooper’s 29-year-old roommate critically injured. MNPD said that Cooper and the victim lived in the apartment with their girlfriend.

The victim was shot twice and remains in critical condition at Skyline Medical Center. Authorities believe the two men were involved in an argument that stemmed from an ongoing dispute between their girlfriends.
