The Naperville Police Department is currently investigating a shooting on Inland Circle. NPD reports that officers responded to the 700 block of Inland Circle for a report of a person shot around 1:36 p.m. on August 15, 2024.

At the scene, police found a 26-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital. At this time, the victim’s condition is unknown.

NPD believes the victim and offender were known to each other. NPD is following up on leads to locate the suspect who is believed to have fled the area. No other details are available at this time.
