A Nampa man is behind bars in connection to a fatal collision that killed a 26-year-old woman. NPD reports that its dispatch received multiple calls about an injury crash at North Middleton Road and Smith Avenue around 11 p.m. on September 27, 2024.

NPD officers, Nampa Fire, and Canyon County Paramedics responded to the scene. First responders confirmed that two vehicles had been involved and one vehicle had struck a pole.

One driver, 26-year-old Brook L. Taylor, was transported to an area hospital where she passed away. The other driver, 26-year-old Shaeden Robinson, was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

After being released from the hospital, Robinson was taken into police custody and arrested on charges of Vehicular Manslaughter and Aggravated DUI. He was booked into the Canyon County Jail.
