Authorities in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina are investigating a shooting early Saturday morning. The Myrtle Beach Police Department reports that its officers responded to a shooting incident in the 1600 block of North Ocean Boulevard around 1:10 a.m. on July 20, 2024.

The case remains under investigation. MBPD says the scene is secured, but there will be an increased police presence in the area as the investigation continues. MBPD asks locals to take an alternate route.
