The Murfreesboro Police Department is searching for the thieves who rammed a stolen vehicle into a gunshop and stole weapons. MPD reports that thieves in a stolen vehicle from Nashville crashed through two locked gates and rammed into the Bullseye Gun & Range on Shelby Street before stealing multiple guns Saturday morning.
Police were alerted to a burglary alarm at the shop around 4 a.m. on Saturday. Once officers arrived, they located the vehicle abandoned at the scene. MPD says the preliminary investigation indicates two men went inside the business to steal multiple guns.
A third person waited outside in a dark 4-door sedan possibly used as a getaway vehicle. MPD’s Criminal investigation Division and the ATF will be investigating the burglary. No other details are available at this time.
